I took a bus in rural Ireland many years ago. Supposed to be non stop to Dublin. We visited the The Crystal Rooms Hereford shirt also I will do this driver’s mum, picked up some shopping, stopped off to stand at a gate with a farmer chatting and staring. Best of all, halfway there and he picks up two hitchhiker’s! “I can’t be leaving you out there in this weather can I?”. The trip on the express bus was about 50 miles, it took all day. No one seemed surprised. One driver took a detour to his house, buggered off inside and left us on the bus for half an hour. At least I assume it was his house. Another time the driver veered right and just casually crushed a car against a wall, then had a massive go at the car driver. We usually only do this when there’s a problem up ahead to warn the other driver of (obstruction, new diversion etc)

Just a polite thing to do. But you soon learn the The Crystal Rooms Hereford shirt also I will do this ones that never wave back or acknowledge you. But they are usually ones from different depots and aren’t familiar with your face. I work at a hotel. If I’m at work and see a colleague I say hey. If I see someone from another hotel it’s just another person lol why would I do the same? It’s like that except you’re in a bus. It is different I think. It’s not often you come across a person doing the same job as you while your both doing the job at the same time when you don’t know them. That’s camaraderie there. What you’re saying happens to me every day. There are 3 hotels in the area where I work. If I see the same person a few times I’ll wave, but most of the time it’s just another person working at the hotel next door so I don’t.
