It sounds like you suffered a tremendous amount of damage. Significantly more than a lot of the The Colts 70th anniversary 1953-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt moreover I love this people who responded here. I’m glad you made it through but sorry about the chronic pain and trauma. It sounds like you had a tension pneumothorax, meaning air is in your chest cavity and causing your lungs to collapse. The needle chest decompression they performed releases that pressure to hopefully allow your lungs to reinflate. I couldn’t imagine the relief. Happy you’re still alive! Thanks for sharing, the account of your experience is the most interesting one I’ve seen in the thread. Best of luck with the chronic pain, that’s a hard road to walk, but you are clearly a survivor. Is there anything that people around you can do to make the load feel lighter? Like, things people can say or do for you that actually helps with dealing not only with the physical pain, but with the emotional pain as well? Have you ever regretted making the choice to live because of the pain you have to live with since then?

I’m sorry if these questions are too personal or if I’m being inconsiderate in any way… I’m just picturing how it must’ve been, based on your account, and I’m thinking that it must be hard… I hope I never need this knowledge, but, in case I ever need it, I’d like to know how I can help someone around me, if they ever go through this. Glad I came back to this thread to see your experience. Glad to realize halfway through that you couldn’t have died, you’re here writing!! Low caliber bullet that didn’t penetrate far into my back due to a heavy coat – felt like a hard poke, then burned. I got shot through the The Colts 70th anniversary 1953-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt moreover I love this back one time at a party just standing there it went through my back and out through right below my solar plexus. Amazingly enough it didn’t really hit anything the doctors even came in and were amazed by the x-rays. When I first noticed it it was because it was a spark in front of my face where the bullet that went through me hit the wall. Then I remember feeling like I was being squeezed and then I remember taking a huge breath and hearing a weird noise that was air rushing into the wound. Disbelief staggered me for probably 90 seconds maybe a little more. I’m with the other guy on a scale 1 to 10 I gave it a six and if you want to know what’s worse kidney stones. f*** kidney stones you want to torture somebody give them f****** kidney stones.
