Sorry ladies, for basically everything. My wife is understandably upset about the news last night and it makes me fearful of what my daughter will have to face.

My daughter loves Star Wars but you can only find girls shirts with Rey or some cartoon Leia on them. Even then it’s only 1 design. She wants a Vader, Chewy, or Luke. She freaks out if we find a dress with pockets. did you shop in the boys section for her? it might help to start teaching her early on that clothing sections are just stupid rules made up by society and that if the clothes fit then she can wear them. now that im grown up i shop in all sections. women’s, men’s, juniors, and because im petite even the kids section lol. as long as it fits Yeah but they fit weird. We definitely have bought some from the boys section and she loves them. But she can be girly too and she wants frilly sleeves and little skirts or leggings with cool stuff she loves. But unfortunately those types of clothing are pink and extra girly. Why the fuck isn’t there a spider man frilly skirt or boba fett leggings or hair accessories with skulls and storm troopers? As a dad it is disheartening. I am a girl dad and she wants to be like me (some tatted up heavy metal star wars nerd) and I’m sure her little sister once she is old enough will probably want the same things. So eventually my plan is to make cool clothes. I can sew so one day I will buy some fabric with cool prints and make them some stuff.
