I play with him throughout the The Adventures of The Walker Sisters T-Shirt in other words I will buy this day. Because of this, he ends up taking an epic nap and waking up around supper time. More playing and then cuddles till about 1 am. Then it’s off to the races again! Yeah, he’s still young. Mine calmed down a bit after he was neutered, and even more since last year. He’s only 2 now, but we play with him tons to get all that energy out and he’s quiet enough to not disturb us throughout the night. Idk what he does but at least he’s not loud I have an appointment for him to get snipped in July. I also have another cat who is 7 and she calmed down at about 18 months. I’ve got 3 cats and they all sleep through the night.. my youngest used to run around at night when he was a kitten, but every time his zoomies interrupted my sleep, I grabbed him, pulled the blanket over him, and forcefully snuggled him to sleep. Luckily, my boy’s a big sook, so he just gives in and cuddles.

OP, I’m not sure if this works with a four-month-old kitten, but I know that with adult cats, Jackson Galaxy ( the “Cat Daddy”) recommends wearing kitty out with play before bedtime. Like, whatever his favorite toy is have him chase it until he’s too pooped to do anything but go to sleep. Best of luck! we put the cat out of the bedroom at bedtime. she will inevitably disrupt our sleep. we wake up to her cries at 8 AM and feed and scratch her. then she has a full day of playing and anything she wants! it’s okay to respect your own sleep time. Both my cats go to their room when it’s time for lights out….they will start knocking shit off the bedside tables at 3am, and my fiancé and I are really light sleepers. I hope this doesn’t make me an asshole. One of my cats is so in tune with my bedtime routine he starts meowing incessantly to be put to bed when he knows it’s time….because he gets a treat! Any cat I’ve had even growing up got shut in a separate room overnight….didn’t realize it wasn’t normal.
