Jesus could literally come here today, turn a pool of water into wine right in front of their eyes and these people wouldn’t believe him because he said take care of the Thanksgiving Turkey And Pie Seahawks Football Shirt Furthermore, I will do this poor and less fortunate. These people aren’t Christians, they just use Christianity as a means to their own ends. Meaning they inly have to flap gums. Not live a pious life. Not living like Jesus. Poor, working among the sickest & poorest. According to the Bible, Jesus hung out with the rejects of society, gave out free food and healthcare, and preached tolerance and acceptance. If he were alive today the Evangelical Christians would call him a socialist groomer. While I was homeless in Florida I had a minister say to me that I was evil for asking for food instead of asking for salvation. He even said I was as bad as a mass school shooter for not putting Jesus first. That was the final straw for me and I am no longer Christian and will never associate with monsters like that again.

Yes, I too recall when tens of thousands of buildings were built all across America that were dedicated to the Thanksgiving Turkey And Pie Seahawks Football Shirt Furthermore, I will do this memory of George Floyd Also, Jesus was a brown guy murdered by white police. So, George Floyd getting the same treatment 2000 years later should get talked about. I know you try to draw parallels but solders of Roman Empire come in all shades of skin. And arguably native romans themselves were brown depending on how exactly you put barrier between white and brown. If you ever get a chance, I really recommend the book Zealot by Reza Aslan. It’s super interesting and it really paints the image of Jesus as a Jewish activist and Christianity as being a Jewish religion for the Jewish community, to empower them in their stand against Rome’s oppression. People think of these as religious movements, and of course they are, but mostly because at the time spirituality was really the only lens you could view the world through. If there was a similar movement now it would be socialism or BLM.
