That could get expensive quickly, but I do have a few pairs of pants that I might have to cave and just get it done. As someone who gets 99% of her parents tailored (narrow waist + bigger hips and thighs means I typically buy to fit my hips/legs and then get the Thanks For Not Swallowing Us Mother’s day sperms T-Shirt besides I will buy this waist taken in), depending on what you’re doing to them (and the make/material of the pant), it can often be not that costly. With my current seamstress, she charges about $20-$25 to take the waists in, and she does an amazing job of hiding the seams at the same time. It depends on what the issue is though. Taking in the waist is easier than the opposite problem, i.e. smaller hips/bum/thighs. This is a more expensive fix and more difficult to get right even if you are willing to pay for it. So I would say if you are more hourglass than average then tailoring can work wonders, but if you are straighter than average you are better off finding a pant brand that is cut for a straighter shape off the rack. Alternatively spend some time and effort to find the right tailor and be willing to shell out a fortune to tailor your pants.

Yeah I have the Thanks For Not Swallowing Us Mother’s day sperms T-Shirt besides I will buy this same issue. I’m between a 4 and a 6 but lately I’ve been leaning toward 6s because they just feel better on and I think they look better than squeezing into a 4. Just the other day I was pulling some old stuff out of the closet that was size 3. I miss the days when they made odd sizes. LOL well they still do make odd sizes…they’re juniors sizes. Just like they’ve always been. So look at junior’s brands. But a 3 is not in between a 2 and a 4, they are different sizing charts completely. Yes! When I was younger I would be proud to be able to wear a smaller size item when I try sth on in the store. Then in my day to day, I will dread wearing that item bc it will fit very tightly, like a glove (in a bad way), make me feel squeezed in, and if I eat anything I feel like I will burst out of it, esp with bottoms. It was ironic that wearing a smaller size actually makes me feel larger.
