It’s tragic that we refuse to give people dignity in death and it comes to this. We just has a client who basically sat hospice with her husband for 8 weeks. She knew he was dying, she knew he was suffering, and she couldn’t do anything. It’s heartbreaking. This is totally understandable. But I would document that it was, indeed, his wish. Video, signed statement, etc. I think it might be a bad precedent to set to just choose to believe her if there’s really no proof this is what he wanted. I mean, it’s totally easy to believe he wanted to end it. But it just seems like a slippery slope. People shouldn’t be forced to suffer. We offer our pets the Thank you for the memories Aerosmith signatures shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this mercy of assisted death. It’s insane that we don’t offer the same to our loved ones. It’s pathetic that I can spend $350 to end my dogs pain and suffering, but we can’t do that to our fellow man, save for a few select places.

Safe to say that the Thank you for the memories Aerosmith signatures shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this palliative care support is as lacking some communicating. This poor woman should not have had to do this. We went though this with my grandmother she would have put a gun to her head …if she had the strength to hold a gun in the end. These are AWFUL circumstances to be put in and if you don’t understand it now you will in 10 years or so. With an aging population not just in US but in the world situations like this was going to become alot more common. Damn, he was already looking at a $120,000 hospital bill, then some pinche doctor is till trying to keep you alive for $350,000 more. And this is why assisted suicide for at least the terminal sick is important….they are dead anyway why do we force them to suffer for weeks or months? We are arrested if we let our pets suffer and yet if we try and end the suffering of a loved one who is in pain and is gonna die and is asking for death. We become criminals? It’s messed up.
