Kicked out? No. As soon as I turned 18 I couldn’t wait to get out. I was on my own starting life and being independent a week later. Americans are ultra-obsessed with independence. Babies must sleep in their own rooms pretty much from birth, kids should find a job and support themselves as soon as they are legally allowed to. They convince themselves that all this Texas Longhorns Horror Movies Characters Bus Halloween 2023 Shirt it is in the first place but is in their children’s best interest. American culture is all about individualism. You’re an adult, go be on your own. We’re done helping you, because if I help you, you aren’t earning your own keep. Similar to why we don’t have universal health care. Why should my dollars and effort help someone else? They have to earn it themselves. Instead of spending those money to help their fellow citizens, they would rather spend 700bill of it every year bombing some goat herders thousands of miles away. What an amazing logic

From my experience this isn’t s common thing. Most of the Texas Longhorns Horror Movies Characters Bus Halloween 2023 Shirt it is in the first place but “out at 18’s” are the kids deciding themselves to leave home and make a go of it. Still living at home beyond 18 is quite common these days. I want the best for my children. I want them to be happy and successful, much more so than their mother and I. Feels like most people share this sentiment where I’m from. Because they are disgusting selfish beings who think parenting ends at 18. Don’t have kids if you don’t want to be a parent forever. My mom kicked me out at 18 bc I was “an ungrateful selfish bitch”. I just didn’t want to pay $100 rent each month. I will never do this to my kids. They will move out when they are ready. Almost no one does this. Most people live with their parents until they have a stable job for a bit, which often times is like 24 years old give or take a couple years
