Good. Glad they stopped. Those pet department employees didn’t know how to clean a tank to save their lives (almost no training) and the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this neglect and abuse killed a LOT of fish needlessly. We used to get UPS and FedEx deliveries of live fish every Wednesday and a rep from the company that dealt with the tanks was supposed to be at our store to deal with them. Most of the fish died before they ever came out of the styrofoam containers they were packaged in because the rep never showed but once a month. We were also not allowed to clean our own tanks after they were moved from a part of the store that had drains in the floor and pluming, to a part of the store that didn’t. Which was part of the reason the rep stopped showing, he didn’t like schlepping buckets of water across the store. Yeah pet department is consistently the worst run department at wal-mart. Like I said… very glad they stopped, for the animal’s sakes.

Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt

I get it, its quite normal for some of them to die along the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this way.. but this story is just cruel. Imagine being stuffed into a tiny cell with no food for weeks just because your warden can’t be assed to show up more then once a month. Agreed. But most people don’t care about fish because they don’t make any sounds when hurt and aren’t cute and cuddly like a dog. They seem them as decorations and not animals. My kid goes to the pet stores and looks for the worst looking fish to buy. She has multiple tank set ups and gets them back to health before finding them a good home. A while back she found a beta at pet smart in the little container. The person at the counter wouldn’t sell it to her because it was in such bad shape. He said it was probably going to die. She said it would def die if it stayed there. He still wouldn’t sell it. We told him we wouldn’t return it, it just needed a better environment and treatment. Pretty sure the little guy got tossed (or whatever they do). She’s still angry. Their suffering is obviously something that should be avoided, but there’s a point at which this is just negligible. Globally over a hundred million tonnes of fish is consumed as food, and a tiny portion of that was given a quick and painless death. Fish do feel pain and do poses more intelligence than many people expect, but they are still significantly less intelligent than sapient lifeforms like us.

Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt: best style for you

I guess I don’t really see intelligence as being relevant. The thing is having an experience, just like any other creature (human or not). It sees things, feels things, wants things. It can suffer and it can be content. I’m not really sure why “it’s not intelligent” even enters into the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this conversation. When a human has a severe mental disability, should we consider it proportionally “more okay” to starve him or beat him or kill him? It’s a bizarre connection to me, this argument that “I know this creature is in pain, starving, and afraid, but it’s more okay because they don’t have the brainpower to understand why they’re feeling so horrible.” How does that even enter into it? I read that as the rep hadn’t SHOWERED but once a month and was wondering how bad the stank was that it killed off the fish This is probably antithetical to the Wally World experience but if you stick enough live plants in/on the tank they’d only need water changes a couple times a year or so, just gotta add more water once in a while. It wouldn’t work for the goldfish tanks though as far as I’m aware (due to them being carp so they eat/shit like a mf and they cram way too many fish in there regardless) but for the less-overstocked tanks it could work

Not just the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this pet department. My friend worked as a bike assembler for Walmart and he had 0 experience assembling bikes prior to this. Now they just have a lot of them built by third party companies that pay their workers by piece work not the hour. So it’s probably even worse. If Walmart is doing this in my area i might have to apply to be a bike assembler because i actually have experience in the field and Walmart bikes are a lot of people’s introduction to cycling. Could be a very efficient way to get more people into the sport with gear that’s been built properly No they don’t, it’s someone who is in the back just assembling them with no knowledge. Source run a bike shop and have to reverse handlebars and forks for a price more than the bikes are worth

Well to be fair, it’s not that complicated and all of them come with assembly manuals. Pretty much anyone who does not want to pay for assembly becomes a first time bike assembler with zero experience. That’s really on you for assuming they have everything tight on them and not putting the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this front wheel between your legs and seeing if the handlebars are tight. I myself will never trust people to do the correct things, even when buying bikes from pro-shops I always check those things first. 9/10 most people are scared to put that much pressure on the Allen wrench neck bolts. Well to be fair, it’s not that complicated and all of them come with assembly manuals. Pretty much anyone who does not want to pay for assembly becomes a first time bike assembler with zero experience. Do you really not understand why someone buying a service from a billion dollar corporation might have a certain expectation of bare minimum quality standards?
Stop with this “let’s be fair” bullshit when it comes to greedy corporations, I promise they wont write your name down on the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this good boy list. Stop with this “let’s be fair” bullshit when it comes to greedy corporations, I promise they wont write your name down on the good boy list. I’m not defending Walmart in the least bit (Don’t get me confused for someone sucking up to a company that has zero dollars for employee’s while buying 250 million mega yachts). Greedy corporations are going to be greedy, but also expecting the same company to hire 2-3 bike experts across the nation for each and every walmart store is already back at your first point. They are greedy, they are not going to do that as experts expect better payment and treatment. Out of all the BS you can be shoved into working on in Walmart, bike assembly seems to be the best thing to end up with having to do at walmart. I mean you have so many better options like moving 30-50 bags of dog food on a manual pallet jack to pets, then expected to break that down and stock in under an hour by yourself.
With any job out there, there is an expectation to have to learn things as you go, which is why sometimes there is someone with ZERO experience doing those things. Those same employee’s are also learning things as they go, from the Terry Rozier American professional basketball Charlotte Stretch T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this people stocking with zero experience with the inventory management systems, to the person ensuring your fresh vegetables are fresh and learning health guidelines on things. I hated seeing the poor Betta fish asphyxiating and dying in those shitty little cups. Mass-market-retail has no business selling live animals. Fucking same. We bought one just to save it.. rip Pudge.. absolutely horrendous treatment and should be illegal, leaving dead and dying fish in tubs while this little guy was still active but doomed to die When I used to work there before they started cutting personnel we were all trained in the maintenance of the tanks, I used to measure the water levels change the filters clean the aquariums etc, it was part of my duties. Then they cut personnel and had one guy do like 3 departments which included pets and he had no idea what he was doing, before every department had someone knowledgeable in what they stocked.
