It’s hard to feel bad for parents when they complain they are always tired. The time and resources that would otherwise go toward parenting will instead go to sleeping, entertainment, charity and other meaningful goals. I just don’t have a strong desire to be a parent. I do have a stronger desire to avoid pregnancy, so if a child need comes around it would be adoption or by circumstance. I don’t dislike kids, but I’d imagine if I wanted one then I would probably feel it more. I’m fairly neutral to the idea. I have a lot of traveling I want to do and I don’t want to have to lug kids around and find kid friendly activities and amenities 😇 I am a teacher, I have 22 kids daily who constantly ask me questions, need attentention but also give me hugs and alot of love ofcourse. After a day of teaching, I really need to unwind. My childhood was not really good. I have a mentally ill mother and I don’t want to give my kids a bad childhood.

I have a genetic disease. Money, this economy is not family-friendly. I have anger issues as well so i dont wanna be “that father” that my dad ended up being, and i despise his very soul for it. Also, im pretty positive society is gonna end in my lifetime, why would i have a child for a future i dont believe in? I’ve seen abuse, and been a victim of it, I’m not entirely convinced that I won’t do the same some day, seeing as my mom once said the same and now my school has DCF on speed dial. Also, childbirth and pregnancy seems painful. I might adopt one day when I’m old. But until then I don’t think it would be smart for me to be a mother.
