I’m petty and refuse to rise and get out of bed when he finds himself locked out at night because he can’t keep up with a key and wants to knock on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl Tom Brady Goat hold my beer shirt and I will buy this door at 3 in the morning. I actually silenced the doorbell for this behavior back when one of our elders was sick because I felt I would commit a terrible act of violence if he woke her up one more time. I’ve left him sleeping in his car all night before (not a flex, not anything really) and suspect that he’ll be dealing with that with great frequency if he doesn’t put two and two together. Unfortunately he has never been very bright and I don’t know how capable he is of doing that. My Little Girl is 13 days old and screams bloody murder at every diaper change. If we learn the secret, I’ll gladly pass it along. From the rest of the comments, it sounds like it’s just time. ??‍♀️ My son hated it at first and then we created a little diaper changing song and now it’s his favorite thing ever.

What worked for us was warming the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl Tom Brady Goat hold my beer shirt and I will buy this wet wipes. We stopped doing so when he was around 6 weeks and now at 13 weeks when nothing seems to calm him from crying we just put him on the changing table and he’s happy. Weird little creature. Same. My LO hated diaper changes for about a month. We started singing the same upbeat song for each diaper change and that helped (or he just happened to grow out of the hating-diaper-changes phase around the same time). Now at 4.5 months he loves it. It’s when he’s the most chatty. I end up keeping him on the change table for 10+ minutes sometimes just to chat with him, teach him animal noises, and let him play with my arm (the funniest toy during diaper changes apparently).
