My dad was a Vietnam combat vet and yeah, that was a huge part of his personal identity, but you’d never see him posing in pics with his guns because he always felt that weapons and killing weren’t appropriate in public civilian life. I don’t feel like this is stupid at all, they are both pointing their guns in a safe direction, they went shooting them (from the Tage Thompson American professional ice hockey center Buffalo Highlight T-Shirt Also,I will get this context of this picture), their fingers are off the triggers, and they are honestly probably on safety, and are also likely unloaded, (no context for the last too remarks just guessing) like this is a very responsible picture and I see no reason it should be in this sub Imagine if people did that shit with their other hobbies. Like, here’s Tom the best man wearing his scuba gear giving the speech. Or Amy, who’s brought her fucking pet emu to the movies. This is so cringe. On the face of it (wedding, guns), a facepalm but culturally there are nuances. For many Americans, this is normal.

Cheers Other – was just judging from the Tage Thompson American professional ice hockey center Buffalo Highlight T-Shirt Also,I will get this many pics from presumably pro-gun Americans such as that now infamous USCongressman’s Christmas card. TBFH everything east of Italy until you hit India..ish, there’s an increasing chance of guns at weddings. A tradition in most of the Middle East. I’ve been to a Saudi wedding with everything from muskets to AK’s going off.. there’s a shooting into the ground thing with the muskets everyone should google, its amazing Why is guns at a wedding stupid? Maybe they’re both gun lovers? Maybe they wanna protect themselves from certain threats? I can’t personally see this as a facepalm. People doing wacky things during their wedding is quite common this days. Of course there is probably some further context.
