They ask for extra money from the Table Soccer Fan Gift Outfit Table Football Stars Mimimi Auf Der T-Shirt in other words I will buy this customers, that money goes into a pool, and that pool gets donated in the company’s name to whatever charity they chose. Now come tax season, they can say “we donated X million dollars to charity this year” for insane tax write-offs with no impact on profit. I used to work for a charity that partnered with Whole Foods to do this. You’re partly right. Two things, tho: 1) Whole Foods can afford writing a giant check. However, WF has to weigh the possibility that every other charity is going to go to them thinking that they will dole out checks if asked. Not a good look for the investors, or the charities. 2) It raises awareness. Now you may not think that awareness is that important, but I assure you it benefits the charity in more ways that eventually lead to more donations down the line.

Guys like this complain but then don’t give me any potato’s like Randy wtf you’re potato rich so start donatin’ In my lovely state, agencies are required to develop a plan describing how they will panhandle their own employees to give to united way or whatever. Why are government agencies spending ANY time doing this? And it’s not even the Table Soccer Fan Gift Outfit Table Football Stars Mimimi Auf Der T-Shirt in other words I will buy this agency issue. They are MANDATED to spend time making a plan for something that has no bearing whatsoever to their mission. Fun fact: Most grocery stores have already made the donation for a certain amount and they just ask customers to donate so they can recoup the loss. I wonder, it seems like they get you give and they donate your money on their behalf and claim it for their taxes. what shits me about the Good Friday appeal in Australia, is that the supermarkets, get their customers to donate to the cause, great. And during the televised event, they come out with a giant cheque taking credit, mind you, they don’t put in any money themselves, and of course, that’s a huge tax writeoff for them also, as they “donated” to a charity What gets me too are pretend “political polls”, that I agree with, but the whole point is to ask for money. Yeah, I get they need campaign donations, but don’t ask my opinion, if it doesn’t matter and you really just want money I always find it interesting at Goodwill, “would you like to round up to support the cause?”. Publically traded commpany and senior management jobs openings making making +5x their employees.
