I was struggling with my rogue until around lvl 30 since the Super Mario autism art design shirt and by the same token and only legendaries I got were from Vigo, but now my gear is getting better. Not liking the skills part that much, there’s little vairety to use, and I’m forced on a couple builds to make any decent damage. More than anything else, I am amazed at the smooth launch, no server issues, barely any queues, good performance, no bugs. After all the recent shitty AAA releases this year I realise I am ready to pay $10 more just to get a functioning game at launch. The game looks nice, music is amazing but somehow gameplay doesn’t feel good to me. I’m constantly switching between necro and druid builds and it feels dull Im preparing myself for downvotes, but there is no hate or anything like this in my post, just my feelings and opinion. I personally think the game is just really boring. There is no propper “wow” effect in anything, not the items, not the quests, not the combat. Its all just very tame and controlled. Character progress paired with Area scaling only adds ontop of that. Another thing that really annoys me is all the running, the empty screens and the tiny hordes of monsters. I want to kill demons hordes and not fight 3 white mobs at a time. I actually kind of had to laugh out loud when the Rogue performed some incredible tricks while attacking, screaming in between a bit and hearing the sharp blade sounds, doing like some sort of Kapoera style fighting while theres 5 white mobs on screen. It just i dont know, felt unintentionally hilarious.

Another main problem for me is Item Affixes. This was clear from every single teaser, from the Super Mario autism art design shirt and by the same token and Beta and now the live game. Too many conditional effects, too little impact on how they change my character. Ontop of that, many skills feel like they were designed and then they took 50% of their effect away and threw them on a unique/legendary, which in my opinion is not a great design. The base skills should be working on their own and the unique/leg effects should change/add ontop, not make them funtional. To add to the running around kiting minions complaint, im not a fan of all these mini quests, clicking corpses and shrines and freeing people. I absolutely hate standing still, waiting a few seconds for a bar to fill up and do that multiple times to do some sort of mini quest. Totally kills my gaming experience. Let me just click it, no bar, no standing still. Just click it and done.
