She isn’t doing anything useful to actually help anyone experiencing real homelessness or mental health issues, she’s just auditing homelessness for a moment and turning herself into a caricature of a homeless person for her followers to look at. At any point she can choose to go back to her wealthy lifestyle as a upper class chinese student in London. I hope this helps make things a bit clearer for why people find this offensive/a facepalm.

She still looked like she had makeup on, her clothes were fresh and not very dirty. So many people went by probably thinking she just sat there a little bit.
