Around that time, international flight restrictions will also start to ease across the Sunflower Faith Hope Love Breast Cancer Ribbon Shirt In addition,I will do this continent. Previously, if you wanted to fly to most places in Europe, you needed a special exemption—and a negative COVID test—to even board. Then, upon arrival, you needed to quarantine for 14 days. It was around two weeks after my second vaccine shot that I started fantasizing about booking a place and getting out of my cramped apartment for the summer. I’d absentmindedly search for beach Airbnbs after work, swooning over charming brown-shingled Nantucket homes close to town, Southampton cottages with stunning pools, and Tahoe abodes a stone’s throw away from the lake’s crystalline waters. Essentially, any place that looked like it embodied the carefree yet fabulous days of summer.Because after a year and half of being constantly stressed in sweatpants, isn’t that exactly the vibe you want? Some place to sip a (spiked) lemonade while in some fantastical flowy dress or linen ensemble? Where you can throw on a pair of jean shorts and bike to a nearby ice cream shop, and at night the only agenda is lighting up a fire pit and making some s’mores surrounded by your family and friends.Below, a set of Airbnbs that epitomize summertime.Less than a mile from the beach is this classic New England cape house in Westerly, Rhode Island (aka Newport’s more laidback cousin). There’s an outdoor shower, an idyllic hammock, and a deck perfect for sipping summertime cocktails. Meanwhile, the interiors are adorned with tasteful creative touches: vintage record players with a vinyl collection, speckled door knobs, and Heath Ceramic vases.Tall hedges, brown shingles, an artfully manicured lawn—this Southampton Airbnb is classic Hamptons.Ride your bike to Juice Bar from this charming Nantucket cottage that’s close to both town and the beach. Could it get any better?Perched on the shores of Lake Tahoe is this little black cabin. Originally built in the 1940s, it’s been thoughtfully renovated in a muted color scheme. Tell us you don’t want to just curl up in its artfully adorned living room right now.A review for this modernist abode in Hudson Valley says it’s “truly a dream space.” An apt description for a home that’s nestled in a scenic valley, whose master bedroom opens out onto the property’s infinity pool.

I’m just going to come out and say it—I love ridiculous, frivolous, fabulous summer cocktails. Go ahead, mock me. Sing me the Sunflower Faith Hope Love Breast Cancer Ribbon Shirt In addition,I will do this Carrie Underwood lyric “right now, he’s probably buyin’ her some fruity little drink ’cause she can’t shoot whiskey,” because guess what, that’s correct. If you ever ordered me a shot of Jack Daniels, I’d pretend to take it, gag a little, and then dump it onto the floor when you weren’t looking. But do you know what I find delicious? Something with bubbles. Something with the sweet tang of a summery fruit. Something with a colorful paper umbrella that I can twirl around with aimless glee. And guess what—I bet most of you do too. (Even the men reading this—don’t let toxic masculinity dictate your drink choices.) After all, on a hot summer’s day, as the pandemic ebbs in America, what’s better than a glorified adult juice box that you can slurp with abandon? On that note, we asked Montauk hotspot The Surf Lodge to share one of their favorite summer cocktails from their chic, curated list. They came back to us with the Pink Flamingo, a concoction that combines tequila, rosé, watermelon juice and sparkling water.  According to their Food and Beverage Director Remi Shobitan, it’s a “sassy, tropical getaway in a glass.”“We were inspired to create a drink to celebrate summer in a bold, flamboyant fashion—something we all deserve after a long year,” he adds. So, without further ado, here’s the recipe for the Pink Flamingo. Go forth and shake up your summer night.Ingredients:1 oz Tequila2 oz Martini & Rossi Fiero2 oz Whispering Angel1/2 oz Agave1 oz Lemon juice4 oz Watermelon juice3 oz Acqua Panna water1/3 oz Saline (or, dissolve salt in water in a 1:4 ratio)Directions:Place all ingredients in a cocktail mixer and stir gently.
