Then she was dragged along on the Sunflower Childhood Cancer Awareness Gold Ribbon T-Shirt Also,I will get this L&C expedition by her abusive husband when she was like 14 or 16 and pregnant. USA can’t figure out how to vote properly. They aren’t going to accept that a coin is the same as a piece of paper. The racists didn’t like it but that’s not why it failed. Huge dollar coins haven’t bee. Popular since they stopped being made of silver You could carry 10 dollar bills cleanly in your pocket or walk around with a sack of metal….. I wonder why it didn’t take off There is no way thos should have failed. Coins last 10-20x as long as bills. Would save the US money, so just do it, and stop printing bills. This was also during a time where everyone was starting to transition from paper transactions (cash or check) to electronic transactions (credit or debit cards) Not only was a large dollar coin inconvenient to carry, people were finding paper dollars too inconvenient to carry once electronic card readers became common for every point of sale system. tbf they are VERY successful in Ecuador. i lived there for awhile and i was like “oh so this is where all the gold dollar coins went”

I broke a soda vending machine around this time when I attempted to use a Sacagawea dollar. The large coin got stuck when I had assumed it simply wouldn’t have been accepted. After they came out the Sunflower Childhood Cancer Awareness Gold Ribbon T-Shirt Also,I will get this ticket kiosks at NJ Transit train stations were stocked with them. At the time it was 7 bucks from my town to NYC via train, and I can’t tell you how many times I forgot that the kiosks gave change in coins. I’d put a 20 into the machine and then have 13 of these damn things clanging around my pocket all day. For me personally I value saving space, if I could I would get rid of physical money entirely, but I SURE AS HELL don’t want coins that keep getting bigger. If they wanted to make coins popular again the way to do it would be to make them smaller not bigger. Make that dollar coin the size of 1 thai baht and now we are talking more people would have no problem stacking a bunch of those in their pocket, But when they are massive and weighing down my pockets I would much rather run with the paper dollars. So I worked in radio, Michael Irving (Dallas cowboys) was doing a sports show at my studio, ran into him at the vending machine. He asked me for a dollar to get a snack because all he had was a gold Sacagawea dollar ???
