I almost got expelled from school when I was 7 because a girl in my class told the Sundays-Are-For-The-Bird-NFL-Philadelphia-Eagles-Shirt Besides,I will do this teacher that I scratched her on the neck. She did have a scratch on her neck and it was bleeding. But it WASNT ME! I didn’t even talk to that girl, but one of her friends said she saw me do it. Nobody believed me because “someone else saw me do it” This was back in like 2001, I had a mobile phone I hated. As usual I was late catching the bus, as I ran across the road to the stop it was heading towards my phone fell out of my pocket, the bus went straight past the stop & drove over my phone. My family still think I threw it under the bus. That octopus one is extremely cool. The only time I’ve seen octopus in Malta when visiting family there is on a plate. Went to Cleethorpes a lot as a young kid…i was wading in the water and felt something nip at my ankle. Swore it was a huge crab, i saw something scuttle off. Got out, showed my mum and nan my bleeding ankle and they both said i must have cut myself on something sharp because crabs don’t live this “far up North”

I spent many a summer in Bridlington (further north than Cleethorpes) in the Sundays-Are-For-The-Bird-NFL-Philadelphia-Eagles-Shirt Besides,I will do this crab pools, watching the crabs skitter about all day. Most of my family spent their childhood in South London, so i did have a feeling my mum was speaking absolute codswallop, but for years every time i mentioned it i was told it was rubbish and i must have cut my ankle on something else. Like hello mum, what other animal scuttles sideways in water, has multiple legs and is an oval shape? I know what i saw dammit! Been to Cleethorpes plenty of times and I can say with certainty that there are definitely crabs on the beach east of the meridian globe. My mate came out of chemistry class once, and he was pissed off. He threw his pen, one with a metal nib. And it stuck into the wooden door in the corridor. I wasn’t a child but once a domesticated Brazilian Parakeet flew through my balcony into my living room. He landed on the floor and started cursing “son of a bitch” and walking around! I went to see and it was so so happy to see me, it flew towards me and I ran away, it started singing happy bday to you, whistling some tradicional german songs and saying “Im hungry” (it was in portuguese, happened in Brazil) We called the local Radio Station, they have a mid day show with local announcements, they aired the bird appearing, and the owner came forward with pictures and videos. Bird returned home 3 days later 🙂 With the hindsight of nearly 40 years I sort of can see why my parents said it probably wasn’t true, but I swear it happened!
