I still hear people saying how Portland and St. Paul are wastelands. Like… dude you can look at their live traffic cams. They’re fine. I say if they’re actively policing the Suna no gaara fan art naruto shirt Also,I will get this tone of your protest, then you need to protest even more and with more conviction because it means you’re hitting the right nerve. They didn’t do shit with those gestapo Karens barking about “their right” to not wear a mask because it doesn’t upset those in power. They don’t give a shit. But if you advocate for actual human rights, actual justice, actual reform?? That’s when they start hand wringing Government will only change when they’re scared of the people. It’s always been this way, and will always continue to be this way. It’s wild people come to this conclusion regarding people we hate, like Russia, but insist this isn’t the case for the US or other developed countries. Watching police officers get beaten by people with flag poles carrying the Suna no gaara fan art naruto shirt Also,I will get this Thin Blue Line flag was really something. Dred Scot, Bleeding Kansas, Fugitive Slave Law, it’s happening all over again, and the Supreme Court lit that fuse too. I see the parallels too. And while I really hope that it doesn’t come to pass, I’m not going to be sticking around on what constitutes the front lines to find out, that’s for sure. I’m also going to be making sure my friends and family are armed, just in case – not because I have some crazy notion that we’d be able to hold off the military or anything, but because of exactly the sort of “Bleeding Kansas” scenario, where armed nutcases are causing trouble. Especially if they go after gay rights next. The modern gay rights movement literally began by throwing bricks at cops. I can’t see queer folks going back to the days of getting beat by cops and arrested for who they love. Especially given how armed people are now compared to the 1960s.
