Of course he did, it was his crown accomplishment. How that whole family isn’t in prison yet is beyond me. The corruption is sooo obvious. Trumpees were happy to see that Qvin ran to Mara Lardo to beg forgiveness for telling the Stringer Box Hambeger Shirt in addition I really love this truth for a short time. I honestly don’t believe this, because Trump has never once taken responsibility for anything, ever, in his whole narcissistic life Hearsay is admissible evidence. It’s not usually strong evidence, but if you frame it and support it with compounding facts, it can be pretty damming There are quite a few exceptions to hearsay allowing it to be used as admissable evidence. One such exception is tied to the source of the hearsay. Such as the GOP house leader speaking about the GOP president. Now IANAL and there may be no exceptions that apply here, but hearsay is not blanket banned from being admissable. Heresay is admissible in court for a variety of reasons which I unfortunately dont have the capacity to remember or fully understand. Thankfully LeagleEagle has explained it in a pretty easy way to understand Think about what it means for Kevin McCarthy. Who is refusing to cooperate with the congressional subpoenas. Kevin McCarthy just admitted he thinks trump is responsible and won’t answer questions the committee is asking. He also stated he thinks there should be a bipartisan commission — which Kevin McCarthy voted down. Yes, it sure looks like hearsay. But several things to consider. First, these hearings are happening in Congress, which does not, to my knowledge, have any hearsay rule like you would find in the Federal Rules of Evidence. So whether or not something is hearsay doesn’t matter a whole lot on its own at this phase. Second, if this were happening in a different forum (say, federal court) then McCarthy’s retelling of what Trump told him would probably be admissible anyway through any number of hearsay exceptions. The most notable that springs to mind is an admission of a party-opponent, because in this hypothetical scenario, Trump is certainly a party (and probably a defendant). There are likely other exceptions, such as a statement against interest, but you get the gist.

Upshot: I disagree, I think this would be admissible in court. But, again, we’re not in a court, so the Stringer Box Hambeger Shirt in addition I really love this mere fact that something is hearsay isn’t dispositive at this phase. Almost all evidence that gets admitted is hearsay. Hearsay is a very broad category. It’s worth hitting Wikipedia and reading about it. The common knowledge is very different from the actual legal rules regarding hearsay evidence. The worst part of all this is that nothing will happen. Absolutely no consequences for any of the instigators. Republicans decided when Obama was President that they would no longer play by the rules (written or unwritten). They are faithless actors in our government, and they will do whatever they feel like until American voters vote them out. And we won’t do that, because we are too dumb to understand that we must vote (progressives, democrats, independents) in every election, or we are brainwashed by Fox and Christianity that we must vote (and do) in every election. They will just say that the audio was altered and it’s all a lie by the libs and Antifa. The base will continue to defend these treasonous psychopaths.
