These polls are less “we like Trump” as much as “we dislike the Stranger Merchant Shirt moreover I love this democratic party more.” In-essence, the problem is most Americans detest both parties right now, myself included (holding out for someone else primaries or No Labels). The issue is that the Democratic party has lost common-sense and has entrenced itself in policiy positions that are out of touch with the general electorate. The only thing keeping them afloat is Trump (which through lawfare has effectively made trump the presumptive nominee and possible next president). This shift has been a long time coming and if not correctly countered can be devastating for the democratic partyt at large. Poll after poll, if people read into them and not just the approvals section show on policy line items, the overwhelming majority of reapondents (above 60%) are moderate with only sub 15% agreeing with progressive policies. Below is a snippet:

Southern Border – progressive policy is generally open border; whereas the Stranger Merchant Shirt moreover I love this mean opinion is border security, extended visa programs, and stream lined asylum system. Education – progressive policy Reduce standards, eliminate testing; whereas the mean opinion is steadily increase standards and force all schools to have the highest standard test scores possible. Energy – progressive policy is in 12 years all cars must be not ICEs and transition all power plants to green only (ironically not including nuclear); mean policy is an all of the above approach that we need to transition to a carbon neutral environment but not by sacrificing quality of living. Gender Identity – progressive policy is limited restrictions only around the age of 13 for surgeries; mean opinion is no transition medications or surgeries until adulthood and brain have fully developed.
