“Veronica closed 10 sales this week all whilst getting over a nasty case of the Straight Outta South Park shirt Additionally,I will love this food poisoning, Veronica is an absolute Weapon” My wife and I had this debate. For me it’s certainly an insult. Some stupid ‘reality’ TV apparently has it down as a compliment for being attractive. I worked with a lad from Leeds (I’m from Wolverhampton) abroad. We were working with an Aussie lad who is a bit of a twat, but was been extra twatish that day, and the lad from Leeds called him an absolute weapon and the Aussie guy didn’t understand it. But I knew what he meant lol The “Weapon” thinks it sounds cool, however it’s used derogatorily in every sense – see: “Weapons grade idiot.” (Northerner) I would have always thought it meant penis, tool, dick etc def not a compliment BUT Chris Harris often uses it as an adjective to describe cars he rates and since first noticing him do it I’ve heard it used in other contexts ‘Haaland is an absolute weapon’ so complimentary by way of being devastingly good. Odd when things change, next time just call them a twat to avoid any ambiguity. Massive bell is another clear option. Depends on context. Someone doing something dangerously stupid, weapon behaviour. Someone chugging 2 ltr of frosty Jack to prove how tough they are. Weapon. Someone picking up a 3 or more bags of sand with ease, absolute weapon. I’ve always considered it a good thing, mainly use it when online gaming and someone does something good. Playing Rocket League for example, if my mate scores a cracking goal, will call him an absolute weapon or an absolute unit. From Northern Ireland, and I have heard it used as both an idiot / unhinged or as very attractive. Depends on where you are from, and the context it is used in.
Straight Outta South Park shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
Northern myself and weapon is as most people have said – a dangerous idiot. In the Straight Outta South Park shirt Additionally,I will love this Defence of those who interpret it another way, I’ve often heard people describe very talented sportspeople as a “gun” and I wonder if it stems from that?
