Had me in the Stick with Stallone VHS tape logo Classic T-Shirt besides I will buy this first half lol but no after reading your story, I don’t blame you at all. He sounds like a man child I got completely turned off of a new relationship when the guy in his mid twenties couldn’t find bacon in a grocery store and wanted me to show him. Just a switch. I have no desire to mother a grown man. You dodged a bullet. I lived with a guy who expected me to cook, clean, do all of the girl stuff (like make sure his mother got flowers on Mother’s Day, plan get togethers). I also worked twice as much as he did. He would eventually do chores if I nagged him about it for days which would piss both of us off. We had plenty of talks about it and it would improve for a few days and then go back to status quo. The resentment built until we were just angry platonic roommates. I wanted a partner, not a child. Actually my toddler is much more helpful than that so that’s not even fair. Helpless people are not attractive… I don’t blame anyone for breaking up with someone who can’t do the most basic cooking.

Just sounds like weaponised incompetence to get you to do more work. If you’ve got kids and work 60 hour weeks, doubt you feel the Stick with Stallone VHS tape logo Classic T-Shirt besides I will buy this need to look after him too. My 5 year old can make toast. My 10 year old who has special needs can make toast and sandwiches and cup noodles. My 9 year old can ‘cook’ nuggets and chips, easy Mac, 2 minute noodles (though she has us drain the water to avoid being burned). She can even cook pancakes from those shaker bottles, flipping them herself on the electric frypan. She has just recently begun making cups of tea. My husband wasn’t the best cook when we met, but he could boil pre-made ravioli and add a jar of sauce so we weren’t always eating take-away. I’ve been cooking since I was little and even have a Cert II in Hospitality Operations and still struggle to poach an egg. It’s just something that I can’t seem to get right. But I can boil them, fry them and scramble them. I can even make a pretty decent omelette. I wish I could get poached eggs to work though, because they are my favourite. But he could have admitted he couldn’t do it, or at least made you the toast and bacon and a fried egg. If you can’t cook, you’d better bring something else to the table, like even picking up after yourself.
