Either way there is no good reason to remove the protections in place. So you think people who don’t want to be parents and have sex should be punished by being forced to have children? No. That would be ridiculous. Getting drunk is the Stars Stripes Reproductive Rights 4th Of July Skull Sunglasses American Flag T-Shirt it is in the first place but natural outcome of drinking. Pregnancy is the natural outcome of sex. If you don’t want to get drunk and if you don’t want a DUI, don’t drink. If you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex. Just as you don’t get drunk and get a DUI every time you have a drink, a pregnancy does not result from every sexual encounter. Most women getting abortions already have children. They are aware that pregnancy is a potential result of sex. They’ve had babies. They know what it takes. Many of these women are married or in relationships. So you have a family of 4. They’re just scraping by. The woman becomes pregnant, because birth control is never 100%, but they know they can’t afford or adequately care for another child. When the woman’s employer finds out she’s pregnant she will be fired because they can’t afford to hold her job. The consequences are job loss, homelessness, stress, hunger. At a minimum the family is saddled with a huge hospital bill for a birth that sets them back and limits their opportunity further.
