i dont think it’s weird, i just start thinking “man that looks uncomfortable. wet cotton/polyester cloth sticking to the Star wars ahsoka tano skull rebel outcast jedI Shirt Furthermore, I will do this skin and weighing you down? don’t think I’d like that” Yah if I were to judge that would be why. My thoughts exactly. Idc if people are fat or skinny. Sometimes I’ll notice if a person’s junk is hanging out, because that’s noticeable, or if I really like a swim suit look I’ll think “man that’s cute!” That’s about it. Nah. I figure they’ve got a reason for wearing it and are likely self conscious about whatever that reason is, so the last thing they need is judgement from me. I’m here to swim, not to judge other people’s swimwear. I live in Florida, am not overweight other than the typical dad bod, and I (and many others) wear a “shirt” at/in the pool all the time as a matter of sun protection. But it’s specific for water use: it’s a “rash guard.” Synthetic UV resistant material, long sleeve or short, quick drying. Originated for surfing. Obviously won’t help you this time, but look into getting one.

Yes that’s the Star wars ahsoka tano skull rebel outcast jedI Shirt Furthermore, I will do this way to go. A lot of pools don’t want you wearing normal t-shirt clothing, because you loose fabric “lint” in the pool. That’s quite bad for the pumps and filters of a swimming pool. Those synthetic water sports shirts don’t do that, plus they feel less wet clothy so it’s more comfortable. Other than that nobody cares if you wear a shirt to the pool. I’m not considered overweight and I still do sometimes. (because of the sun but also other body insecurities). More people are insecure about their body than you think. Most people are to some degree. Don’t let it impact you life. Wear a shirt if it makes you feel better. But go swimming. Don’t miss out. True, but a lot of the ones that are very tight are compression fabric, which wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing for someone that has loose skin from weight loss and moobs.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
