True for people who aren’t women too. One of the Speech language pathologist speech therapy teacher day classic shirt so you should to go to store and get this best pieces of advice I’ve been given is asking “do you need someone to vent to or are you looking for my opinion on this? I’m here for whatever you need” Clears everything up, and it helps them know that you’re actually present during a stressful moment for them You’re soooo close. You’re alllllmost there. This is only half the answer! We don’t just want to rant, merely venting is not the goal. We want to vent and for you to attempt to understand our experience. If you go right into problem solving mode, you’re not listening. A lot of the solutions men offer for women’s problems may be effective solutions for men, but depending on the problem and the people involved, taking the effective approach for men would make things worse for us. We’re not actually stupid, we know how to resolve situations, we know how to ask for advice when we need it. We just want you to see us and have some empathy.

It’s hard to describe the Speech language pathologist speech therapy teacher day classic shirt so you should to go to store and get this feeling, when you’re vulnerable with a man you trust, and sharing something painful you’re going through, and he’s only half listening because he’s already trying to fix it, and misses this nuance of the experience and how different the rules are for us, and then he starts throwing out solutions you’ve already considered, like you’re a simpleton, or just steamrolls you trying to make the conversation shorter for him…ugh. We feel invisible, forlorn, even more hurt and adrift than before. Sticking with the boat metaphor, we need an emotionally-aware anchor, not a mechanic. Women are just as flawed as men. They’re not better than us, so you don’t need to worship them. They’re not worse than us, so you don’t need to hate them.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
