I’m glad that your dad’s out and I love that no-bullshit look on your face that says you are going to do a lot of good for your clients. Congrats on your graduation!! Crazy that people’s entire career paths get made because some racist jackoffs a few decades back decided it was ok to throw black people in jail for having a dimebag. Edit: I said decades because I was thinking of the Sped Teacher Life Cat Fine I Am Fine Everything Is Fine Lights Christmas T-Shirt moreover I love this Nixon Era war on drugs in particular. But yeah it does go back even further. Meanwhile 500 kg (Over 1100 lbs) of cocaine is found in a shipment delivered to Nespresso and nobody is probably going to pay any price. I can’t help but think about how much prison might’ve changed him as a person and how such a trauma could impede a future healthy relationship with his daughter. Like, no doubt she loves her daddy and He loves his little girl, but 20 years of prison does things to a person that makes it difficult for them to connect to others. It makes me sad to think about and I truly hope they’re able to overcome whatever obstacles they may have. Yea, hopefully she was able to visit him often and remind him there was a world outside and people who love him waiting for him to help keep him sane but I couldn’t do 20 years in prison in the US. It’s just straight up torture, 20 years for non violent drug crimes while people get fucking probation for rape and shit. Makes me fucking sick.

I pray for the Sped Teacher Life Cat Fine I Am Fine Everything Is Fine Lights Christmas T-Shirt moreover I love this day when I get put on a jury to decide on a drug case. It’s going to be the greatest day in someone’s life Was it really because of the drugs only or the repeated offender laws with lengthy minimum sentencing guidelines? also 20 years such a round sentence, she make it sound like she Johnny Cochran’ed his ass out of there ? mans def finished his sentence at the same time coincidentally the downvotes are probably because people are reading your comment as justifying the life sentence because of repeat offenses, regardless of your actual stance on the issue. A person can be arrested several times for simple assault, aggravated assault or DV and receive less time than this guy received. I’m sure you’ve read about someone receiving multiple charges and doing less than a combined 3 years before they finally do something ridiculous enough a judge can’t justify the slap on the wrist anymore. It was an accumulation of things. Not just that derivative. That was just one Chip in the bag of flavored bullshit. Maybe you’re being downvoted because you drew a conclusion without… Well any sort of evidence or investigation on your part.
