In addition to the South Carolina Gamecocks Grinch Santa Middle finger haters gonna hate shirt But I will love this comment about Yvie, Vivienne felt she was robbed of wins and a place in the F4 by the multi-star talent show twist, while Shea felt that she was not given credit consistently and resented the multi-star twist because it created the narrative that she didn’t make it to the finale on her own merits. I don’t remember Trinity’s specific issues but saw multiple videos of her infesting with fans where she alluded to shenanigans and was unhappy with the outcome of the season. Those poor winners being celebrated for an entire season and only being shown in an incredibly good light. Heartbreaking. It’s an issue when production is giving queens like Jinkx undeserved wins and sidelining other talented queens like Raja, Shea, Yvie, and Viv. Iirc the favouritism was so bad that Raja, Shea and someone else I can’t recall said they were on the verge of quitting the season after just a few episodes. The others I cant remember, but Yvie had a very thoughtful post on her ig story about her portrayal as basically a “goofy big dick idiot”, completely overlooking her struggles that season with her disability, and not leaving any room for nuance in her art/personality/life

Besides the South Carolina Gamecocks Grinch Santa Middle finger haters gonna hate shirt But I will love this one tictac convo in the last ep, Yvie’s disability was completely glossed over which sucks cuz she said she talked about it a lot that season. Shes losing control of her body, eg during the talent show she fell hard during one of the takes, cuz she cant move the way she could even on s11. And even in the tictac convo, she was pretty disrespected, being told “you’re disabled but you dont let it get to you and make excuses!!!” Like yes, it is good to stay positive where possible, but being upset abt losing your body and knowing your limits are both understandable and necessary Oh wow, thank you for that – I don’t use social media so am very ‘out of the loop’ with these things. I appeciate your detailed reply! It is true, actually. When watching the all-winners season I had completely forgotten about Yvies health issues…
