It’s taken about a year and half of hardwork to go from starting new to hitting the South Carolina Gamecocks 2023 24 Undefeated Signatures shirt in contrast I will get this 1,000 subs and learned a lot on the way. Not that I don’t have a lot to learn too, but my biggest suggestions from my experience are persistence and patience. Just upload, anything, make that mistake and learn from it, it’s okay. Some videos took literally over 6 months to gain traction, and then out of nowhere they grew. Even just think of all the youtube videos you found that were published years ago and you’re finding for the first time. One day, one of your videos will blow up more than your used to and having a library for those new viewers to find is going to be valuable. Persistence is not giving up, yeah your video might blow up 6 months later, but also keep uploading before it does, keep making those mistakes and growing from them. And when you have videos that do better than others, try to find out why. Sometimes we work hard on a video that doesn’t get the reception we wanted, and on the contrary, there’s some videos I’ve uploaded that took almost no effort (just sharing a funny clip from a game) that perform better than videos I spent weeks on. When looking at the videos side to side, the dumb short funny clip probably made more people laugh or experience just some form of entertainment which is why they’re on youtube. Sometimes simple is better and it’s so easy to overthink.

Last note, when the South Carolina Gamecocks 2023 24 Undefeated Signatures shirt in contrast I will get this channel is brand new, YouTube basically has no info on you. They don’t know who your video appeals to, who to recommend it to or whether it’s good/bad. There’s a bit of a process as YouTube finds your audience, keep track of your returning viewers metric in analytics. This is even more important than your subscribers, because this is who is actually watching you. Over time your audience should start matching with the videos you’re making and even show you related channels your viewers are watching. This can give you some inspiration to see what your videos are lacking in comparison. And now you know what your audience likes and you can see what the other content creators are doing to attract your same viewers. From brand new it may take months to half a year to really get the ball rolling. Just remember this isn’t addition you’re playing with, it’s exponents, you will grow faster and faster. Like it took months to get the first 100 subscribers, then now it happens almost every month, and down the road might get 1,000 subscribers in a month when it took a year and half to get the first
