Translation: they have found a group of psychologically weak people to prey on, and are now extracting as much wealth during their con as they can. All a question of when the Son Goku Cleveland Browns Shitting On Toilet Pittsburgh Steelers And Other Teams 2023 shirt But I will love this poor fools who are being taken advantage of will wake up, and take this shit company to court like that one gentlemen did back in…2017? 2018? Worst part of all of this is companies like Blizzard look at this, and then think to themselves “whoa the star citizen guys are straight up scamming their playerbase…what could WE get away with? Bob, release diablo immortal!!!!” Chris Roberts lives a lavish lifestyle and a cocaine addiction. He’s not about to get off the money train anytime soon. People defending SC don’t realize that SCAM don’t always mean that someone gets money and run away. For Chris Roberts this whole scam is his way to achieve dreams, create his own studio, hire people, actors, live CEO life. Granted he didn’t take all the money and he didn’t run away, but he burns throught that money, keeps lying and don’t deliver promises. Except not really, though, as the article that lists its source as another article then lists its source speculating RDR costing around 170 million. They almost immediately walk that back to more like 240 million, before ending up over 500 million by the end of the paragraph, including marketing.

For GTA, it’s a similar situation – industry analysts speculating its costs – as Rockstar doesn’t publish development costs. It’s estimated over 300 million including marketing. That $590 million number for Star Citizen is a bit misleading as well, as it’s two products being developed in tandem: the Son Goku Cleveland Browns Shitting On Toilet Pittsburgh Steelers And Other Teams 2023 shirt But I will love this open world sandbox mmo Star Citizen and the single player cinematic game Squadron 42. That number also includes marketing. Now, is it absolutely ridiculous it’s been near $600m, 9 years of active dev, and neither game has released yet? Absolutely. But this article’s headline is disingenuous, at best. Certainly recognise that opinions on Star Citizen are mixed to say the least, but at least for me it’s been well worth the $45. They’re never going to actually release the game. They found their gravy train, they’re going to ride it for as long as they can, and they’ll jump off and disappear right before it crashes into the station.
