“I forced this kid into existence and chose to take care of them, so now they don’t get a choice and have to take care of me” Lucky you’re not getting crucified for that opinion. My mother decided she needed someone to validate her faith. Hah! I’ve done everything to irreparably damage that just by being true to myself. Without kids society would die out. Kids are a huge burden on time and the sneaky link shirt also I will do this finances. You choose to reap the benefits of years of sacrifice without contributing to the further continuation of society. Sure you might work and do good stuff in the world, but you aren’t helping to continue society and parents do that stuff as well as raising kids. I do not agree with this view, but seen from that perspective, can you really not see where the complains come from?

sneaky link shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

If someone pulls that on me, I’m asking who they think is paying for their kids’ K-12 education (assuming they’re in public school) without actually using those resources. You used those resources while growing up yourself. The goal of society is growth and continuation, so it doesn’t really matter if you don’t have kids and aren’t going to use it. Without kids there would eventually be no one to make society go around and all those perks you enjoy wouldn’t be there. But we also aren’t talking about who’s right and who’s wrong. We are simply talking about whether or not you are capable of understanding another person’s view, no matter if you agree with it or not. It literally will die out if we don’t make more people. Also, I am not looking forward to living in a world with a shrinking population. It seems like a miserable, declining sort of experience.
