I know dozens or hundreds of YouTube creators who haven’t seen anywhere near enough success for the Sloth Hiking Sloth Hiking Team Will Get There When Get There Sunset T-Shirt besides I will buy this quality of their work, and seemingly do everything right as far as promotion and thumbnails and content are concerned. Does that mean they’re shadow banned? No, not really. It’s probably not a personal thing by any means, since YouTube’s systems are almost entirely automated. But the idea that you can always make it with good interesting content if you put the work in seems utterly pervasive on this sub, and it’s not the full picture by any means. You may have said it better than me but I totally agree. The algorithm wasn’t made to ban anything but offensive and plagiarized content. Maybe not even that. That stuff may have to be reported idk. Good creators may fail and mediocre ones blow up, it’s a gamble, but consistency and quality do increase our chances. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

OP doesn’t even know what the Sloth Hiking Sloth Hiking Team Will Get There When Get There Sunset T-Shirt besides I will buy this fk a shadow ban means. He thinks that YouTube stops any new creators content from showing and that qualifies as a shadow ban lmao. Correct. The part that most youtubers dont seem to realize. Youtube WANTS you to succeed. If your videos bring in retention, they will start circulating your content. You got to realize the algo needs to choose content out of the millions amount of videos uploaded a day. I like this optimistic advice . I’ll add one thing. It’s very important to create content for an already established niche. Videogames is a huge category — so picking a game that has a huge built in audience is going to get more views than an obscure one. Not only did I pick an obscure series, but an obscure company. Lol. But it’s the only thing I feel compelled to make videos on and I just hope to pick up some fellow fans along the way. Yeah you can go for stuff that gets views and that’s fine, but I’d rather do something I’m passionate about even if that leads to less views and an even lesser chance at “making it big”
