People have different views and opinions on many topics. When an issue becomes so divisive in society that a couple of 13 years having different views on it can destroy their relationship, you know political polarisation has gone too far. I’m really hoping women who vote conservative or are in a relationship with someone who votes conservative stop being doormats for once. Please run. He wasn’t joking, or being hyperbolic for emphasis. On some level he believes violence against women is appropriate if they choose to abort. He may never get up the Slim Trafalgar Law One Piece Shirt and by the same token and courage to kill you. But he will absolutely harm you in a myriad of ways. He fundamentally doesn’t view you as a complete and whole person, equal to him in any way. You’ve got a sunk cost view of things. Reach out to your irl friends, let them know what he said, and get help and support to leave him. 13 years is nothing compared to the rest of your life.

Slim Trafalgar Law One Piece Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Your SO is the Slim Trafalgar Law One Piece Shirt and by the same token and person who should most have your back. I can’t, under any circumstances, imagine a scenario where my husband would even jokingly utter that phrase. Good god not only is he saying he’s anti choice but he explicitly says he’d kill you if you got an abortion? After you have been together 13 years? Go go go go go. It’s apparent that many men’s views on abortion are based on hypotheticals and simplistic logic that is completely out of touch with reality. Few men know anything about pregnancy and its inherent risks, or about miscarriage and it’s complicated entanglement with abortion, or have really thought about what it actually means when someone is forced to carry a pregnancy to term. It’s not a “consequence” for having sex, as if having sex with someone is a crime. It’s not a “lesson.” It’s a profound event with a tsunami of ripple effects on many, many lives and many possible outcomes—and not all good ones. 13 years is a long time. I’m hoping this man is just ignorant and open to education. But I think it’s an issue he needs to learn about to understand how hurtful this stance is. Does he know that illegal abortions lead to women dying, either by suicide or botched attempts or due to medical red tape? Or that illegal abortions mean women could face charges for miscarriage, which is how a large fraction of pregnancies end? Does he realize those “exceptions” are meaningless if all abortions are criminalized?
