The only ulterior motive I see is having a loose sense of control over his fiancé via influence through you, which would also be more typical of being both a man and a young man It’s a bit weird. Truth there. But as noted, nothing creepy in the Slightly Stoopid & Dirty Heads August 2, 2024 Ithink Financial Amphitheatre West Palm Beach Fl shirt Apart from…,I will love this texts and some people are just oblivious to what most would consider not so weird. Would keep it at a minimum and short replies. And none to those that don’t necessitate one. This clearly makes you uncomfortable so set up a personal boundary that doesn’t need to be announced. Tbh as someone who was very friendly and a social butterfly in my not so distant past (28 this may), and with coworkers around that age now I think it’s his personality. I wouldn’t ask for a number but if a friend of my partners or we had similar jobs I’d not think twice of messaging sometimes if I had a question or about my bf or whatever. I just didn’t think and was social and if you hung out with me twice or friends with my partner I just felt you were already a “friend” (I get it seems weird now but from 18-24/25 I thought like that). I understand social appropriateness and how others are vs me a lot more now, but unless he says anything weird I think he’s just very friendly and randomly does things or texts stuff without really thinking of it past that. I wouldn’t worry although weird since I think it’s just his personality and he’s just young. Once he’s 28-30 it’ll probably wear off like it did me I realize now looking back there were people that worried if I was flirting or trying to do something weird when really I just thought of everyone in my social circle as a friend and liked being nice.

My best friend and her husband and I have been friends since we were all 18 and I remember my mom getting uncomfortable when it was mentioned I texted her husband sometimes about her or stuff, or rare times we planned hang outs and I was only around him for a small bit while we waited for her to show up, but tbh we were in our early 20s and just still kids and never thought of it as weird I guess. I think when people are young you don’t think of social appropriateness yet like you do in your late 20s or 30s, your just naive and dumb and think everyone is your friend and want to be nice to whoever is in your love’d life etc., for me at least. It may not be terrible that he’s texting you, but he doesn’t need to either. There’s no reason for it to be a regular thing. You would be correct to stop responding and if he presses the Slightly Stoopid & Dirty Heads August 2, 2024 Ithink Financial Amphitheatre West Palm Beach Fl shirt Apart from…,I will love this issue, let your girlfriend know that you don’t see a need to continue texting with him. There might be wonky fallout but that’s not your doing. I have two close friends who are married to one another. We all briefly worked for the same company, but he moved on to another job and she stayed put. She is chronically online (may have an internet addiction). He, on the other hand, has no social media presence. I regularly text her and she texts me memes quite often, and I will often include him in my texts just as a way of ensuring that no one is hiding anything. Neither of us are romantically interested in the other and I would absolutely never do anything to threaten anyone else’s marriage. There is nothing weird about it, especially since I will often text her to communicate with him and I know she shows him a lot of my texts since they are often gossip about people we all know.
