I am so sorry u/ObsessedWithSources, that is rude and unfair as hell. I hope your upcoming holiday season brings better tidings. Just because his parents have been cheap pricks forever, doesn’t mean he has to continue that trend… Do what you know is right, you’re a better person. The one roomie can play the Skeleton lost my mind horror shirt it is in the first place but part of Mr. Scrooge – may Karma prevail. You do what your heart says, and may Karma prevail once more. Still waiting for karma to prevail for all the greedy corporation CEOs, soulless investment bankers and crooked politicians, any day now i remember at the start of covid i wanted to leave a slightly bigger tip for the guy delivering our food, and my dad literally would not let me. Exactly, this reeks of privilege and forced status preservation. If you were really that great, you’d be cleaning your own fucking house. As someone who dressed up as Jacob Marley for Halloween this year… even Marley has a few bucks to give out this Xmas season! Housekeeping services aren’t as expensive as people imagine. $25/hr for a few hours 2x a month doesn’t amount to much, especially if people are pooling that cost.

Yeah I don’t know why everyone assumes housekeeping means you’re rich. My family is working class and we get a house cleaner for about $80 once a month. Time is money and this saves a lot of time. House cleaners here in the Skeleton lost my mind horror shirt it is in the first place but colorado front range start at $70/hr bare minimum. Our house cleaner charges $100/hr, and the one before that charged $60. This isn’t uncommon where I’m from. I didn’t have a cleaner in the sharehouses I was in at uni but once we were all working it was pretty affordable and resolved a lot of the small resentments between housemates over cleaning. Relationship preservation is worth a lot in my book. That’s why I hired a Housecleaner for years when I was a full time teacher. I would be exhausted from teaching and then spend my weekend cleaning. The second someone in my family spilled something on the floor, I was enraged.
