Mr beast has converted a giant amount of young folks into money worshipping dolts yeah I don’t like him. To the Shawn Elliott South Carolina Gamecocks welcome home shirt in contrast I will get this point he makes a video like this and you don’t see the issue at all. However, he has such a smug douchey face that I really just wanna smash with a brick, he looks like the dude that runs the self-checkout helpdesk at Walmart and would accidentally cancel your whole order, making you start all over again Fucking hell, these comments are filled to the brim with racism. From the classic variant of questioning why africans should be helped at all (with no regard paid to what africans it’s even about), to the white saviour complex ones, with the subtype of “these people will be happy and that’s good, but they’re too stupid and incapable to maintain them”. Because (politics warning) conservative communities and big media outlets are trying really hard to make “activist” into a pejorative meaning a bad person who is loud and upset.

Why is the Shawn Elliott South Carolina Gamecocks welcome home shirt in contrast I will get this made-up MSN narrative that this is a story of “activists” vs “Mr. Beast”? Because it oversimplifies the story into good vs bad dichotomy where Mr. Beast is the good and therefore the so-called “activists” must be bad. Even though Mr. Beast literally does activism in the video? But they can’t call him an “activist,” because activists are broadly liberal, left-wing, or woke, and that doesn’t fit into their neat little worldview of benevolent rich folks saving the world through their wisdom and generosity. (Why has SBF, former billionaire and the face of Ethical Altruism, stolen hundreds of millions of dollars from America’s middle class, possibly the biggest financial fraud in the country ever? Don’t worry about it. Just keep believing that “the good ones” like Jimmy are making the world a better place and don’t you dare levy any new taxes on their wealth!)
