Hello! I was wondering, if in the September 2023 Coheed And Cambria Saint Paul, MN Poster Shirt in contrast I will get this loads and loads of terrible, traumatic camp’s memories, do you have a happy one? Perhaps an interaction or random act of kindness that made you forget about everyday struggles? Or even something so simple, like for example watching a sunrise and forgetting just for a moment about life struggles? The moment that gave you hope or peace in the mid of chaos? As someone with PTSD, I’m curious how you handle your past trauma. After the war, how did you open up and start to heal? Did opening up and speaking about your experiences, come naturally to you? Were there support groups or resources after the war, for survivors’ mental health? What’s your take on your neighbours? Were they obviously Anti-Semitic before what happened? Did you go back at all after, and what were they like after, if you did return? First, thanks a lot for that thread : I can’t imagine what nightmare you encountered. I read a lot about Germany, nazis, trying to understand how a whole country can go in an extermination of human being.

I may be too late, but do you talk at all about the economies that existed in the ghettos and the camps? My company is doing a lot of research on how Jewish people managed to adapt and still get essential items or “luxury” items at a time when money was almost non existent. First of all, I think it is amazing that you’re doing this. It’s important to learn about our history, not just from books but directly from the people who have lived and experienced it. Thank you for taking time to do this!
