I’m wearing the premium Chuck 70s right this minute. Maybe this guys leather ones don’t come w the loop either. i just have the standard low top ones and they have a tongue loop. used to have the high tops and im pretty sure they did too. my all star chucks didn’t come with a loop either, but i cut one in using a pair of chucks that had one as reference. it worked great Yours didn’t? Strange. Both my 8 year old pair in my closet and the new pair that I bought yesterday have loops What?! That’s how I wear my black sneakers. Always white socks! Noone said to me it looks shit. What’s the truth? I’m shocked. Black shoes and white socks are classic casual set. I mean, colored socks looks cooler most times, but don’t white-shame “just because”. I think Redditors remembered they are no-no for more formal occasions, but forgot the rule doesn’t apply outside of them. Yeah, I was so surprised because I live with girls and they would criticize that on me. No offense, I like them to death. 😀 I don’t know why everyone is bringing up the tongue loop when #1 these shoes don’t have one and #2 the loop doesn’t stop this from happening anyway

what do you mean the Senior Moment Humor I May Be Old but What Was I Saying T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this loop doesn’t fix the issue? the loop is quite literally designed to keep the tongue in place, and on my chucks using it instantly fixed the issue The tongue does this on almost every pair of shoes I own and the loop has helped exactly 0 times. It still does it anyway. I used to try to use the loop and it never helped. That’s what it was designed for but that doesn’t mean it actually does it’s job It’s completely dependent on where the loop is placed on the tongue. The majority of ones I’ve used are too far down to solve this problem I think most people’s feet look especially long in All-Stars. Probably because the laces go down closer to the toe than normal shoes. You likely over pronate when you walk. Stitch the tongue to the side it doesn’t slide to. I over pronate on my right foot and my shoe tongues do this too. They do this because you are pulling on the wrong side first when tightening. You need to pull the lateral side before the medial side because of your permanent supination. If you pulled the bottom tighter and kept the ankle a little looser you could stop some of the wear on the outside edge of your shoe, and your foot would hit the ground more square. Oh fuck this id rather jam a toothpick under my toenail and kick a wall as hard as possible than experience this for 5 seconds.
