Occam’s razor basically and the Selena Gomez Zayn Malik Jeremy Allen White shirt moreover I love this counter argument to that is Hickam’s dictum which states “A patient can have as many diseases as they want”. Personally I hate the the if you hear hoofbeats bullshit. That is mostly said by shitty providers who can’t think outside the box. It comes from Samuel Shem’s “House of God”, a book that essentially every medical student across the US is tasked to read early on in their curricula. Lmao what? Nobody in any medical school in the US is “tasked to read” House of God, ever. The phrase has just made its way into medical parlance. No, fuck that. There is no “to be fair” when the topic is denying an incredibly sick 8 year old the ability to visit a hospital. Fuck the nurse(s) that made that call, and double fuck the nurse that ‘allowed’ the girl to take her medication but didn’t bother to read the medical papers that would have given them medical context.

This is active neglect. The nurse(s) involved should have their licenses revoked permanently and charges brought. But that’s a relatively small hate compared to my hate for the Selena Gomez Zayn Malik Jeremy Allen White shirt moreover I love this fact this is going to keep happening because we refuse to put in the structural reforms to ensure our detention facilities understand their number one priority is the well being of the people they are holding against the individual’s will. We take a person’s life into our hands when we detain them. We should be WAY more careful with those lives than we are. We take a person’s life into our hands when we detain them. We should be WAY more careful with those lives than we are. Sadly the people who are attracted to that type of jobs tend to be the ones that want to be cruel and the job gives them the authority to do that so dont expect change anytime soon. We shouldn’t be detaining innocent children in detention centers at all. Our prison system is a for-profit enterprise. The way people get treated is inhumanely horrid. Keep the kids with the parents, and either allow them in or send them back. Don’t just hold them indefinitely. The immigration service gets its resources cut constantly, so detainment centers are filled to the brim, and get forced to find a way to be less costly. Guess what they’ll cheap out on first? Agreed, I think our fundamental approach to immigration and human rights are deeply flawed. I’m also talking towards the number of people in prisons and holding cells who are allowed to die due to neglect into the larger conversation.
