I’m 30 and I prefer dad bods. I like it when guys have some fluff. I just walk with my dog like 5 miles a day and am the fittest I have been in years. I’ve lost 15lbs and getting some definition back in my abs. I’m the skinniest I’ve been since my twenties and feel awesome with minimal effort. I don’t care about lifting weights like a gorilla everyday or protein shakes and supplements and I’ve feel the best in years. Just walk. You’ll be fine. Hell yes. Have nice shoulders/arms and voila! Dad bods sorta lumberjack guys are absolutely the way to go. I can’t and will never understand women who are into these “feminine” defined bodies. I need a real man by my side!

Big shoulders, chest and arms (not necessarily super toned and muscle bound), noticeable body hair and a bit of a tummy Yes please and thanks I’d like to think we gain some perspective as we grow older. Edit: my current boyfriend has a dad bod, but I love the hell out of him and find him sexy in other ways. If you’re choosing a partner solely on looks you’re either shallow or too young to care. 43 m4m here, and I’m only attracted to dad bods. Not slim, not buff, nor severely chubby. Strictly down the middle for me, as in generally in reasonable shape but with a little extra cushion on and around the tummy. I’ve gone for the same “type” ever since I first started dating 25 years ago, so it’s not quite the new phenomenon it’s sometimes made out to be. I can’t speak for women, but I can put forth my theory. It’s my belief that people don’t necessarily like dad bods. What it really is, is that they take comfort in men that are comfortable with themselves. It is not about the body but more about the charisma. The way you walk, talk, dress, take care of your hygiene etc. Now that I am 33, I find older men more attractive when they check all the boxes in terms of self care. My husband is also 33 and he has been working out for 15 years. He has a nice body, he is tall. But I don’t find him that attractive when he doesn’t take care of himself. Like when he wears a ripped boxer, or when he wants to go out in the neighbourhood with his pyjamas. I find him more attractive when he is dressed well rather than when he is naked.
