I love drag but I can still admit it’s mostly a modern invention of men having fun at the School Psychologist Rainbow Retro T-Shirt it is in the first place but expense of women, and inherently sexual. But I’ve also been told it’s not sexual at all, it’s merely my inability to not sexualize breasts or asses that are greatly exaggerated in size. Another retort I hear is that drag is okay for kids because it’s exactly the same as how conservative families regularly bring their children to Hooters. That’s true of majority of 13 year olds, you’d also probably get the most out of the trip at that age than any other. I’m not sure what progressives think goes down at Hooters but they make it sound like a full-blown strip club with lap dances and nudity. If you’re going there looking for a show you’d just leave disappointed, and considering it’s a bar I think if anything went down it’d certainly be long after kids were out of the bar.

I mean, drag is sexual but in a bawdy way. The ultimate purpose seems to be laughing at sexuality not trying to titillate the School Psychologist Rainbow Retro T-Shirt it is in the first place but audience. Though I’m not a gay man so I haven’t watched a ton of drag. I’m willing to hear counter arguments that drag’s purpose is titillating. Also, drag can be construed as woman face and insulting to women, I definitely agree with that though I’m somewhat agnostic about it. I mean, drag is sexual but in a bawdy way. The ultimate purpose seems to be laughing at sexuality not trying to titillate the audience. It’s not inherently sexual but ideally you wouldn’t want anyone under 12-13 watching it. A kid who is only 8 or 9 doesn’t need to be exposed to lesbian sex positions and dudes swallowing loads. A few years older? Yeah they’re old enough for it, not much different than how they talk at school. For drag I’d say it’s the same thing in that to really appreciate or understand the subject matter, you’d want at least a teen audience or older. That’s why the progressive stance on this feels so contrarian: if the right says drag isn’t too appropriate for younger crowds then you bet your ass their position is that it’s absolutely fine for even the youngest children. Hence all the story-time book readings.
