Congress sitting on it for 50+ years instead of making into a reasonable law, solidified it. The ultimate blame should go on Congress, NOT RBG, she just happened to be the Say hello to summer T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this last domino to fall because of her own lack of judgement. It happens, but she was a pioneer for women in the US and I don’t think judging her dead corpse is fair. I’m sure McConnell would have loved to help us with that. She was 75-77 when we held the Senate. Extremely rare for Justices to retire at that age. Hey, she was only in her seventies and diagnosed with the most lethal cancer known to science. She had every reason to expect many more years on the court! RBG had too much of an ego. I’m sorry but somebody has to say it. She didn’t recognize that she was part of a team (in terms of those fighting for progressive causes).

Say hello to summer T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Here’s where she showed that ego, she said “When that suggestion is made, I ask the Say hello to summer T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this question: Who do you think the president could nominate that could get through the Republican Senate? Who you would prefer on the court than me?” She doesn’t acknowledge her agency in the situation. A Democratic Senate majority isn’t always the case, and she didn’t acknowledge her time to pass the baton when passing the seat to a progressive or even just a centrist could have been guaranteed. Her ego and incredible work ethic to that point had helped her to get to Harvard and wrote her incredible legal career. But these incredible attributes hurt her legacy in the wake of the handmaid’s tale-2022-hellscape of what we’re all living through now. The House and Senate could have probably saved America by retiring. If you’re over the US retirement age GTFO of government!
