I always pay the Say Dada 5000 dollar vintage shirt in addition I really love this cleaner extra at Christmas. I do the bills for the house, so I pay her anyway. I don’t bother asking the others. I just pay her the extra, which comes out of my pocket. I don’t tell her it’s just from me either. I use to be a house cleaner, that time of year we would at least get a decent tip from most people, but there were always people like his parents In a lot of places, it’s standard to pay employees double or more on public holidays, and is the expectation, if not the law. Makes sense to me. It is nice of you but why do you force your roommate to donit as well? If you think your cleaner needs higher wage, gibe her a rise. What? If you want to pay them double, then you can pay them double. You don’t get to tell other people what to do. Do it yourself if it matters so much to you. Maids aren’t common to most people. They’ve never thought about it. Also those who’ve always had made don’t think about it either. they just do what they’re taught I have some bad news for ya, you’re going to be a lot more disgusted. This is totally normal, you can’t force someone to be a good person, and you don’t know what that person might be going through. His parents sound rich. They have had cleaners for 40 years. Rich people are heartless assholes. It’s always the average people that tip because they know what it’s like to not have.

Your friend has a Budget too and needs to feed the Say Dada 5000 dollar vintage shirt in addition I really love this self. If you were paying her enough all year, she wouldn’t need a Christmas bonus to survive. Stop trying to make yourself feel better than others. Oh yeah, you won’t do that because you want to make an obvious spectacle so your cleaner is indebted to you Heaven forbid someone makes a different financial decision than you and doesn’t allow you to make it for them! The horror! Same thing – we used to have this foreign worker come in and mow our lawn every month and then and my grandma used to pay him 10 bucks. And quick forward to the pandemic where we did our own manual mowing (read SHEARS). After the pandemic is lifted and my parents went back to their routines and we decided we need the mower guy to come back and help. My grandma insisted to pay him the usual 10 bucks and I was flabbergasted. Now everytime he comes around I just fight to pay for the mower guy 20-30 bucks.
