Boooo. I love Congo but obviously his book is better but without comparing them the Santa Reindeer merry christmas Dollar general 2023 shirt Apart from…,I will love this movie is top 10 for me (heavy nostalgia factor in that im sure) Oh my word, the Timeline movie. That was the first “big” book I read growing up because I had seen Jurassic Park, Congo, and Sphere (the 90’s were wild and parents would let their kids watch these movies before they could read the books), and I assumed anything by Michael Crichton would be solid gold. I LOVED the book and when I found out it was being turned into a movie I was so excited. I pre-ordered tickets, which in 2003 meant you had to actually call the theater. I walked into the theater happier than a mouse in the Cabot factory. I walked out feeling so disappointed and let down. The 1-2 punch of that and the original Hulk movie the same year turned me off of going to the theater to see movies for several years.

I didn’t read the Santa Reindeer merry christmas Dollar general 2023 shirt Apart from…,I will love this book and I thought the movie was okay. Funny, but it was some of Paul Walker’s best acting. He just played a normal person not trying to be cool. Michael Crichton wrote a book called “A Case of Need” about a teenager who died from the complications of an illegal abortion when he was an intern in 1968. It was made into a movie in 1972. I read probably 75% of his novels when I was in high school, and I probably remember more of Airframe than any of his others. It wasn’t my favorite or anything, for some reason it was just really memorable. I just read most of it. I stuck it out because I love Crichton, and had no idea going in what it was going to be. It’s a shit sandwich. No, he wrote them by himself. Or at least his name is the only name on the cover of them. He has a few books that other people finished and were published after he died, but he was still alive when Next and Prey came out. 2 of my favorite books that show his ability to do multiple genres. I remember an interview saying that Airframe would be way too expensive to make. It’s based off real events. The engineering technical details are top notch. Anyone who has been in engineering/development can relate. LPT: even though the movies Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park, and Timeline have been out for a while, do yourself a favor and read the books, or get audio book. When Congo came out Crichton had the #1 television show (ER), book (The Lost World) and movie (Congo) all at the same time. Rising Sun, Jurassic Park and Disclosure had been released in consecutive years before Congo and all crushed it at the box office.
