But otherwise I trust my partner, I trust that she’s going to do what we agreed to do, I trust that she’s going to have a good time, that she’s going to enjoy her evening with her friends, and that nothing’s going to happen. And if something does happen, I trust that she’s going to come and talk to me immediately. But trying to control other people’s friendships out of one’s own insecurities, or jealousy, is really really bad. And all it does is erode and end relationships. People have opposite gender friends, people have opposite gender past relationships that ended up as friends, and people have ex’s that have to stay in the Santa Grinch hand Merry Jeepmas 2023 Shirt also I will do this picture because of kids. I love my partner. But she doesn’t control my entire life. And I don’t control her entire life. And we have to trust each other until we have reason to not to. No boundaries here. We’ve been together 9 years, married for two, and we both have a very close, mixed gender friendship group. If he wanted to go clubbing with friends, female or male, I don’t really care. I trust him to be an adult and act responsibly, and respect our marriage in that he will never emotional or physically cheat. Yes it should be fine, on the Santa Grinch hand Merry Jeepmas 2023 Shirt also I will do this whole we should normalize/desexualize platonic friendships between men and women. If you’re not able to trust who you’re with not to cheat on you, then there’s a bigger problem afoot. Looking at your post history a bit though, you’ve been asking this A LOT. Makes me think maybe there’s a bit more than just a significant other going out on the town with a friend.
