You’re 19 so at this point I’m afraid you’re bound to be self conscious, desperate, and worried what people think of you. The best thing you can do is understand 19 year old girls are struggling in exactly the Santa Claus If You Don’t Like Chicago White Sox Merry Kissmyass shirt also I will do this same way you are. You are not unique in any of this, and all the other 19 year olds are not sailing through life without a care in the world. The best you can do is find someone you like and talk to them like they’re a person. Girl here. If being well-groomed is gays only, I don’t wanna be near any straight dudes, cause they’ll be nasty. I think somebody else put it right when they said that you’re single because you’re 19, and I’ll add that another possible factor is you’re only meeting people through work? I had the same issue with just making friends at all when I was 19, I didn’t go to school or anything social, so I didn’t meet anyone. Also, don’t worry about your voice. You found smth that works to help you out. What other people think about you doing smth that helps you? That’s their business.

Honestly I’m surprised it’s not a benefit to you. I knew two guys who both had very gay mannerisms and they got tons of girls. I asked one of them about it and he said that a lot of times girls will put up a wall when they first meet you if they think you’re straight And most guys get caught up trying to get around that wall so the Santa Claus If You Don’t Like Chicago White Sox Merry Kissmyass shirt also I will do this girl will get to know them. He said that because they usually think he’s gay when they meet him they don’t have that wall and they can get to know him for him much quicker and then he just transitions into hinting that he’s into them. i know a lot of people take men taking care of themselves as a gay thing but it’s definitely not. idk what adds up in their head to get that conclusion but that’s probably a big part of it. also high pitched voice and walking with your hands a lot might give off that vibe?
