Most servers don’t want to get rid of tips. They make more money than they would be paid otherwise here, and it isn’t taxed Edit: when I say it isn’t taxed, I mean it isn’t reported for tax by most servers. At least not the San Diego Rally Goose Vintage Football Symbol T-Shirt and I will buy this full amount Edit 2: Over 68% of restaurant staff said they would not take an increase in hourly wage if tipping were removed. This isn’t surprising, as a past Upserve study indicated that 97% of servers preferred tipping as their payment method Bruh every time I order online it seems like every single restaurant asks “pLeAsE tIp OuR sTaFf!!1!” – even though I’m not fucking eating inside (which would justify a tip). Give me my damn food & pay your damn employees a liveable wage

San Diego Rally Goose Vintage Football Symbol T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I don’t eat out anymore because I don’t want to tip or get berated for not tipping. I save money and they don’t have to serve me. Win win I hate all the San Diego Rally Goose Vintage Football Symbol T-Shirt and I will buy this iPad POS I see now because there seems to always be a tip screen for something that doesn’t need a tip, like beer store around the corner- why exactly am I tipping the checkout clerk to buy beer? I assume it’s all just baked into the software but still. if this were true, another burger shop would open next door, charge $4 for the burger, and drive the competition out of business while rolling in dough. In reality, a $14 burger probably includes more than $2 worth of ingredients, even when purchased in bulk. Then you have to add all the other costs of doing business: paying employees and managers (not to mention the corporate office that handles all the high-level decisions, advertising, etc.). Logistics to transport those ingredients. Leasing or financing building space. Et cetera.
