The very funny and popular boy who sat beside me when I started school (1970s) had calipers on his legs. I asked my mother why and she explained that he had polio. He died months later. My mom’s oldest brother suffered with polio for 6 years before he died. I’ve seen the SAME CRIME MASK life 15yrs probation paid administrative leave T-Shirt and I love this home movies and it was horrific. He had a cage screwed into his head and his left arm was paralyzed. Her cousin survived it but still has problems to this day. I can’t imagine anyone not vaccinating their kids against this terrible disease. My grandma got polio when she was already a mother with 3 children – she survived but dragged her foot for the rest of her life- and she needed outside help to help her with daily chores while raising 3 children. I think she suffered from post polio syndrome. She didn’t have the energy to get all the work done alone. Skip ahead- I had covid before vaccines and had long covid for 6 months. I think it was a post viral situation as well. I was unable to do all my daily chores as well. I was unable to do a lot of things- thankfully my husband was working from home. Long story short- vaccines are a miracle…. How does this happen? How does it randomly come back after 30 years? Was it secretly spreading amongst humans or something?

It’s the SAME CRIME MASK life 15yrs probation paid administrative leave T-Shirt and I love this first case in Israel in 30 years. But there are dozens to hundreds of cases every year of polio around the world As the pendulum goes, humanity got sick and discovered vaccines. For a while we were happy to be safe again, until time erased the memory of these diseases. And now here we are, the pendulum swinging back to the side of pure and utter stupidity, kids will pointlessly suffer and die, people will once again understand why vaccines are needed. My attitude towards the world and my own problems is quite flippant. Covid pandemic? It is what it is. Threat of nuclear war? Well, you have to die some day. My work? Whatever. My dad had it too. His one leg was shorter and spine was curved. Worked every day of his life manual labor until he died at 72. The closest I ever heard him come to complaining about it was when he told me the doctors said he’d need a brace to walk and he refused. That man was stubborn but it worked in his flavour sometimes.
