Hate to break it to you mate, but babies are kept alive for months and months after birth. There has never been a baby that is self sufficient after birth. This was exactly why I had my abortion. I’m not Jewish, but it was the Russell wearing mademoiselle shirt moreover I love this only thing that really made sense, so I went with it. Interesting. I’d heard that the “First Breath” was the soul entering the body and the “Last Breath” was the soul leaving — and hence that led to a lot of bad medicine for a time,… but, I didn’t know that Judaism still thought in these terms for rules regarding life. IIRC in cases where the mother might die during pregnancy but aborting the fetus could save her life, Judaism is okay with aborting the fetus because the fetus is still dependent on the mother for life but the mother is precious and should be saved.

Contrast that with some of the Russell wearing mademoiselle shirt moreover I love this more hardcore fundamentalist Christian groups who’ve embraced a belief that if pregnancy will kill the mother and the fetus won’t survive either, it’s just God’s will. I don’t know if Florida is the same because Wyoming passed an ammendment to protect themselves from imagined Obamacare threats. Basically it said that the government couldn’t tell them what to do about their health care. Jewish law protects abortion rights as it states that life begins at the first breath, so Florida Jews are suing the state abortion ban because it violates their religious freedom First breath combined with a strict command to protect life, in this case the life of the mother, above all else. Jews technically aren’t allowed to risk their health or someone else’s if it can be avoided.
