Allegedly there already was a mutiny of russian marines on the Rush permanent waves shirt and I love this ships heading to Odessa. They simply turned around and left. Was this one of the oligarch profit centers? Profiting from new equipment, training, MREs, supply chain — that never really existed except to line the profiteers’ pockets? The Russian generals haven’t refused to invade Ukraine, but have instituted a “work to rule” scheme, where they have been doing precisely what President Putin has ordered to do, even if they know it’s not going to work. First two days of war, small units are ordered to make made dashes deep into Ukrainian territory to “seize all the cities”. They are all cut off and are ineffective. Next couple of days, the planned reinforcements are thrown in to repeat the attacks, managing to get a bit deeper (remember some Russian tanks did manage to reach where the government buildings were in Kyiv) before either being destroyed or forced to withdraw. Then Putin orders all reinforcements to be sent in at once, which inevitably leads to traffic jams on the roads, leading to increased fuel use…..and now that column is basically impossible to resupply, as the road is still full of traffic. The Russian generals doing precisely what they were told to do, would explain the nonsensical nature of the Russian strategy, as well as why allegedly the generals are unreachable by the troops. They know the strategy is fucked, but want to be able to say, “I was carrying out Putin’s plan” for as long as possible, both to avoid Putin blaming them for not doing his plan, but also to make the war look as least likely to succeed as soon as possible. To the Russian generals, winning the war and so having to occupy a Ukraine that is ‘restive’ and being supplied weapons and explosive from the EU for the next 20 years is not the best outcome for them.

If so many people weren’t being killed, you could have Yakety Sax playing over an awful lot of these invasion videos You’ve gotta wonder what the Rush permanent waves shirt and I love this hell putin was thinking with how badly this appears to be going. I know we’re being fed a lot of “Russia incompetent, ukraine brave and winning” media, so I take a lot with a dash of salt, but the sheer amount of this reporting seems to indicate this invasion was so poorly thought out logistically that I could have done a better job, and I’m a complete idiot! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the only reason I’m not laughing my ass off right now at how impotent Putin’s army is, is because of the tragic loss of life that’s occurring. It’s funny as hell, but not as funny as the rest is tragic. Edit: stop trying to talk to me about who’s going to win who’s going to lose, I didn’t mention anything to do with that and the short answer is everyone loses.
